I totally agree with you! I work at a high school and see the effects of it every day. Many kids don't recieve any form of concequences for their actions when something happens and they never learn that all actions have an equal reaction. I see way to many teenage pregnancies and people who should never have kids do have them. too bad there is no form of manditory serilization for all people and they must graduate high school and pass a parenting exam before they are allowed to reproduce! Unfortunately this is not the case and we have to deal with crappy parenting all the time. We just need to provide those kids with the support that they don't recieve at home!

Parenting is the toughest job in the world, and most rewarding as well. Most parents want to do the best for children and raise responsible adults. Many "privileged" children are far from perfect, and many under-privileged grow up to be very successful, regardless. You cannot judge any family! By the time a child is between 10 and 15 years of age, they know, right from wrong! It is then up to them to decide which road? BLAME or move on! And many that age are parents, themselves! Life is not easy, with a bad attitude! God bless!

If you are going thru this, I am sorry for that. but you are right. some people get pregnant over and over and barely care about feeding the child. Children need love, support, open communication, and above all else, guidance (and yes, discipline) I agree with you that there should be laws for poor parenting. they should be forced to take classes to make them a better parent.
