Teaching Toddlers, How To Sleep, Potty and Play

This is the age they are constantly learning. Usually around the age of two is when parents start teaching their toddlers new skills, let it be potty training, eating on their own, sleeping on their own bed ect. It is important for a parent to spend as much quality time as they can with their kids at this age. You don’t want to miss it.

When teaching your toddler new skills, such as potty training, sleeping, ect make it fun, so they enjoy while they learn. Introduce them to activities that stimulates their mind and body.

Common issues every parent with a toddler faces

This is a big step in a toddlers life. So its important you make it a fun activity when training them to potty in their own little potty seats. You can reward them every time they do right. They are not going to learn in a day or two, accidents will happen, so be patient. Its a good idea to start training when they are two and at home. Make them feel comfortable and relaxed.

Terrible Twos There is a reason why they are called terrible twos. This is where they are learning a lot about their surroundings and they are imitating everything they learn see. For a moment everything is normal and there is peace, then you find that she is kicking and screaming on the floor because you didn’t do something her way. So how do you address the tantrums. Best way to deal with these burst of tantrums is to set rules and then stick to them.

If the toddler gets what it needs when it cries, they will not learn to communicate properly and you will have your hands full. Never give into their little tantrums. Instead teach them how to ask nicely. Reward them with love, when they behave. Don’t get mad at a kid when they cry, instead help them clam down and ask what they are asking. Be consistant. Every toddler throws tantrums, its up to you the parent to teach them.

Having trouble getting your toddler to fall asleep?

Make sleeping a fun activity, but don’t get them over excited. growing children needs lot of sleep and rest. Make sure they get amble enough sleep. You can help them by getting them comfortable beds for toddlers or even their own favorite stuffed animal.

If you have trouble keeping your toddler stay in bed, there are few things you can try. if they have a favourite toy or something they really love you can tell them they can only have that if they stay in bed and try to sleep.

If they don’t fall asleep don’t be agitated, becalm and persistent because toddlers feed of your energy. Just like with any other aspect of parenting, do what feels comfortable for you. But remember sleep is an important part in Childs development.
