More and more young, healthy married couples are thinking of having a baby since most of them have been married over a year. With such strong and healthy bodies, the thought of female infertility has not crosses their minds until their doctor confirmed the diagnosis.

Since, most of the lab’s confirmed that the problem lies with the female and not the male, this fact on female infertility may seem like a sharp blow on them as their doctor explained. With that, it is not the end of their planned chapter on parenthood; but a new chapter.

Many of the causes of female infertility are treatable. You and your partner may also consider other options, such as adoption or foster care of children. In fact the issues involved with female infertility are far more complex than male infertility. After discovering that it is a female infertility issues, he or she may take a detailed study of the medical and family history to find out if there were any other symptoms. Symptoms he found were:

Not regular menstrual cycle

There are few women experiencing a full 28-day cycle; with many of their periods only once a couple of months. Any menstrual cycle less than the 24-day cycle or more than 35-day is considered not regular.

The female ovulation is not regular each month

One can prevent female infertility by calculating when she ovulates, since there is a 24-hour window period where she is most fertile. As some say that if the menstrual cycle is regular, the woman must be ovulating, but this is incorrect as not all women ovulate every cycle.

Family History

From your family tree, you may found out that your mom had trouble conceiving you; this may give you a higher chance of female infertility.

How old are you plays an important role in infertility?

So long women have quality eggs in them; it makes no difference whether their age is early 30s to mid-40s. However, when they are mid-30s, the number of eggs they produces each cycle will decline. This will prevent pregnancy as compared to a woman in her early 20s.

Is it often that stress is causing infertility?

The question of why is this happening to me cause lots of couples to undergo stress and emotional pressures trying to get themselves pregnant. We should not take things for granted, thinking that it is easy to have babies. What we have planned so far may not turn out well. Mentally preparation is often the best bet to fight infertility.

Before you starting punishing yourself by asking those self-blame questions, think of the fact that infertility is the end of parenthood. Current medical science is some advanced that there many be more and more miracle babies being born everyday.
