There aren’t too many people that like rainy days, especially children. As springtime weather begins to come and it gets warmer, kids will definitely want to play. When they get up to a rain filled day, it can mess up their moods. It is a wonderful idea to think of some rainy day activities.
1. Head out to the library on a rainy day, and let your kids grab some books and read them at the house.
2. Most kids love to watch movies, but finding the right ones are important. Think of rainy day educational choices that will enrich them while making the parent feel good too.
3. Create an idea box for rainy days. Your kids can put their activities on a piece of paper and then mix them together and pick one like in a grab bag. This is a fun and cool way to do things.
4. A dress up day inside can be a lot of fun. Using more time on a rainy day to make poodle skirts is a lot of fun for moms and their girls.
5. Another fun way to kill time is to play board games. There is no end for all of the choices to pick from. They are a great way for every one to have a good time.
6. Additionally, think about reverse writing. This is when you write out a sentence backwards. When you’re done, hold it up to a mirror and see how you did.
7. Baking cookies at home is fun to do on rainy days too, and kids absolutely love to help mix the ingredients and dough together. The nice smell of cookies baking in the oven is great, along with being able to eat them too. Getting under a blanket while eating a warm cookie and watching the rain is great.
