Looking for Teen Summer Camps is not as easy as you might think. You must get your teen involved in the selection of a summer program.

After a few weeks at Summer Camp your teenager will arrive home a bit a bit of dirt behind the ears, but more important are the emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social changes that a challenging summer program can produce in a child in this age group.

Finding the right summer program for teens is not much different than finding a program for a nine year old. You still want a safe, secure, and appropriate environment. However,when picking a camp for a teen they need new challenges and greater independence. Often teens find a camp that they like and like to return year after year to see old friends.
